Credits are deducted based on the request type and options used. Costs are additive — for example, a rendered scrape with AI extraction (balanced) costs 10 + 8 = 18 credits.
Start cheap and only climb when a site blocks you. Most pages come back on Standard or JavaScript rendering. The higher tiers exist for the minority of sites that actively resist automated access — paying for them by default just costs more.
